Artist's Resume

Marilyn I. Rodriguez, master sculptor, studied five years under master sculptor Harriet Moore,developing expertise in the classical human figure form. She has recently been commissioned by the Maybeck Foundation to sculpt a life-sized five classical human figure fountain to be placed in the Palace of Fine Arts lagoon in San Francisco.

She has also performed several Sculpture demonstrations at the Museum of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco and has been invited to give another series of sculpture demonstrations in 2009.Ms. Rodriguez also teaches classical sculpture classes with professional models from her studio in San Francisco.

Sculpting since 1992, Ms. Rodriguez's favorite medium are plasticine and clay, later cast in bronze, with bronzes kept to limited editions of 15 or less, thus enhancing the value of her work for the serious collector.

In addition to classical sculpture, Ms. Rodriguez creates designs for home and office decor for her company Rodzal Designs, including mirrors, lamps, sconces and tables.
